Common area problems are many, but the majority of them can be solved by finding out who is violating the rules, laws or covenants. But, herein lies the problem. How do you know who is violating the rules and if you do know, how do you prove it?
This was the question I asked myself every time I saw the community dumpster overflowing with trash and furniture or garbage strewn on the walkways or piles of dog poop in all the grassy areas.
The HOA had signs everywhere, “No illegal dumping”, “Please clean up after your dog”, “Residents Only”, “Violators will be prosecuted”, and more. Obviously, signs were not working.
I went to the HOA meetings and asked the obvious question; “Why don’t we install video cameras and go after these people that don’t seem to care about quality of life?” Everyone seemed to like the idea but then came the concerns and the questions, “Who is going to install it?”, “Who is going to connect to it, search the data, and then let everyone know what happened and when?”
So the problem continued until C.A.V.E. was born!

VIDEO CAMERA INSTALLATIONS
Free Camera Installation
We provide solar powered HD cameras and install them in areas of concern on your property or in common areas. You pay a flat fee of $50.00 per month per camera for our video enforcement services. Our installation service includes full set up and configuration of each camera. No wires! A WiFi connection with at least one bar of service is needed! We provide EVERYTHING else!
INCIDENT REVIEW AND REPORTING
Incident Review
We make it easy for our clients to report an incident on their property, online or by phone. We store all activity for up to 30 days and we will review the recordings to find out what happened and provide a description of any person of interest involved in the incident from the recorded video. We provide a detailed incident report and a copy of the recorded video to you using Dropbox within 24 hours from the time the incident was reported to us.
24 HOUR VIDEO SURVEILLANCE
Eye Witness Recording
The cameras we use are solar powered and will operate for up to 12 months on a fully charged battery. All recordings are instantly uploaded to a secure site on the cloud. All of our cameras have 64 GB sim cards so in the event that our cloud connection is lost, the camera will still continue to record any motion in the area onto the sim card. Our cameras are tested every day to ensure they are online and available to record any incident within range of the camera.
SIGN INSTALLATION
Free Sign Installation (optional)
After a camera is installed we have an optional service to install signs in the immediate area where the camera is located to serve as a deterrent to issues of concern. Signage is not required when monitoring common areas.
